Lodges are great and luxurious but if you go to three different lodges you will get three different guides who will all want to tick-box sightings of a lion and a leopard and each of them will give you the same standard information about the lion, where as on a mobile the guide knows what he told you on day 1 lion sighting si will give you more in depth info about liions the longer you stay on the safari. He has the full trip to find animals and is not under pressure to tick off a leopard etc. Being that closer to the animals in mobile camps is another bonus… smelling that elephant coming through camp…feeling the lion roar at night… it is all such amazing experiences you do not get in lodges.
